Unaï moved to New York on a whim with his best friend. Nine years later, he is still there and has been working on some of the biggest projects of the decades around the world, notably the new Mexico City airport.

More recently, he started his own architecture studio, in partnership with long time friends, and is still firmly rooted in Brooklyn.
